Lily’s Triumph at the City of London Feis: A Year 7 Star Shines Bright!

At Knole Academy, we always love to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students, and today, we are beyond excited to share some truly remarkable news about one of our Year 7 stars, Lily!

Yesterday, Lily took part in the prestigious City of London Feis, a highly competitive event that brings together dancers from across the region. What followed was nothing short of extraordinary!

Lily faced some fierce competition, with many talented dancers vying for top positions. However, Lily’s hard work, dedication, and passion for Irish dancing truly shone through. In what was her best Feis performance to date, Lily not only rose to the challenge but exceeded all expectations. She walked away with first-place victories in three categories: Light Jig, Single Jig, and Heavy Jig.

This is an incredible accomplishment, especially considering the journey Lily has taken over the past three years. She has been working tirelessly to perfect her technique and make improvements, particularly in her Light and Single Jigs. Her determination to push herself and strive for higher levels is truly inspiring. To see all that hard work pay off in such a big way is a testament to Lily’s commitment and resilience.
