Disneyland Paris: Health and Social Care Trip

Disneyland Paris: Health and Social Care Trip

40 students from years 10-13 and 4 teachers descended on Disneyland Paris attended a Health & Social Care seminar and workshop provided by the Study Experience company. The seminar/workshop took place in the cinema at the Gaumont Disney Village.

The content contained information about how equality, diversity, and rights are promoted through the Disney brand. The students learnt about person-centred values, first aid, nutrition, and working with children, which is information students need to know for their exams. It was an interactive workshop, and the students really enjoyed themselves. This meant the students then had the rest of the day to explore the studios and the park, going on the rides and enjoying the experience, and teachers queued up to meet Minnie Mouse for Mrs Laker! We had dinner together in the Royal Pub restaurant before watching the fireworks at the night’s end.

Truly a magical experience!
