Post 16 Trip to the Victoria & Albert Museum
The Art department took their post 16 students on a trip to the V&A to see both the Opera, Power and Politics and the Balenciaga fashion exhibitions. Students also had some free time to explore the various collections at the V&A, encouraging them to find inspiration from a wider range of sources.
“There were so many different types of artworks; there was something for everyone to enjoy. The trip has given me inspiration for my Textiles and Graphics courses, I have lots of new ideas for responses and techniques I could use.” Kate Year 13 Textiles and Graphic Communication.
