SEER Bowling Reward Trip
On 9 October, Knole Academy rewarded nine Year 11 students for their effort and progress with a trip to Tunbridge Wells Bowlplex for some bowling and some lunch. This time last year these students were part of the SEER Project in school which taught a whole range of skills including focus, communication, teamwork and resilience with the aim of improving their chances both in school and later life.
Each of these students had some challenging targets to meet and we are delighted to say that they passed the course and not only have they met their targets but exceeded them. As such, the school felt it was only right to recognise this substantial progress by way of an afternoon bowling. Well done to each and every one of them and we hope the successful trend continues during this important year.
