School Council Award Trip

Knole Academy likes to offer rewards to students and the School Council Award is a great example.  Each tutor nominates one girl and one boy from their form for their good conduct and support throughout the year.  These students have the following positive qualities; reliability, trustworthiness, empathy, strong work ethic, politeness and personality.  The nominees receive a prestigious badge for their blazers and are invited for an afternoon of bowling at Tunbridge Wells Bowlplex, with lunch included.  The bowling was great fun, though many lanes had the barriers up to prevent the dreaded ‘gutterball’. Mr White was showing off his new spin technique, but needs a little more practice to perfect it.

Emily Drake in Year 9 said:  "The trip was really fun. I enjoyed the bowling, it was lovely to be treated by the school.’’

Finn Campbell in Year 9 said: "It was great to have time out of school with friends doing such a fun activity like bowling. We had a cracking time and I will wear my badge with pride.’’

Thanks to all the tutors for the support and care they have given their tutees this year. Thanks too to Trevor Piggott of the site team who drove the coach and to Mrs Noble, Mrs Searle and Mr White for accompanying the students.

It could be you next year!
