At Knole Academy we offer a wide variety of clubs and extra-curricular activities in which our students are encouraged to participate. You can get a feel for the types of activities on offer below, but this is only an indication of the broad range available. We believe that being involved with clubs and extra-curricular activities enriches the educational experience for students and creates more well-rounded individuals.
Many academic subjects also offer extra-curricular opportunities such as in science, cooking and debating to name but a few.
The academy is proud of its art, dance, drama and music clubs. Our well-resourced music department houses ensemble groups, choirs and a full range of instrumental clubs. Other regular academy events include an annual dance show, drama performances and music concerts.
A key event that brings together the whole academy into one spectacular production is the annual show, which is greatly enjoyed by those who are involved and those who come to support it.
The academy organises regular residential visits abroad to enhance the learning of modern foreign languages as well as providing opportunities to visit other parts of the world. We are associated with the EU funded Comenius Project to promote good relations among students and teachers from across Europe.
Throughout the year there are educational visits to theatres, art galleries, museums, historical sites and other places of educational interest.
As they have done in previous years, the Minstrels will be representing Knole Academy at a variety of events, concerts et cetera throughout the academic year.
